That's what Michael Moore says...the government should be afraid of it's people.
We need an uprising.
Its not that bad in Australia...I pay about $1200 a year for Private health with an excess of $500/- for any major surgery but not everyone can afford it. I also have Medicare which covers GP walk-ins for free.
My last surgery cost about $8000/- and I've been to the physio and chiro for the past year paying only $5/- gap at each visit. Recoup what I pay out anyway.
I think the hardest bit is having to choose one or the other when it comes to health. Its like putting a gun on someone's head and saying, "your money or your life?".
I'm way too timid for any uprising!
