Madonna, Madonna, Madonna...what can I say. I remember all the drama associated with this video. I wished she had released at the time.
The American "life" is filled with consumerism and vapid entertainment. Things that keep your mind off the real issues.
That's why the Republicans want to cut Arts funding...they want that voice silenced.
Arts Funding is a two-edge sword. What's more important is for us to hold true to our practice because it is easy to sell yourselves when you're desperate.
I truly believe that arts funding is not the be all and end all. The human spirit have always survived adversities including the struggling artists that have now made it big.
The experience of fighting for your art can be quite humbling!
