The weekend was great and relaxing apart from the scorching heat. The steering wheel to the car did not take kindly to the tan the day before so it was a walk into the city and a real nice lunch at the EROS Ouzeri - a Greek restaurant serving Tapas. Have not done that in a while....there was also the weekend street market but the heat kept everyone away; that's Adelaide for you. Really looking forward to the holidays - just wanting to get out from the routine of work, reports, spreadsheets, reconciliations and everything else that has to do with bloody numbers (auditors).
Sunday was BBQ day - Shashlik and lamb. It was easy and quick but ended up with fat all over from the smoke. Strangely enough I thought about how delicious I would be to a lamb lover right then... the new BBQ is also working a treat - all the fat just falls off the meat, literally.
Wiped out my nano yesterday though while trying to install new software so that took awhile to sort out but finally got everything ready for the trip. Some lounge, hard house, R&B and jazz. Will miss listening to the Ohmypod, Andrewfaith, Ongline, 773podcast soon for the next 2-3 weeks so guys my apologies if I disappear from the face of the planet but Burma's junta is afraid of technology. I'll have pictures for you though ... absence just makes the heart grows fonder.
